MSVC Redistributables Installation Failed. Installation Of AVG Cannot Continue.

I get this error message. After trying to install AVG 9.0 Free

System : Genuine XP SP3
Previous AV : AVG 8.5 Free
uninstalled it , restarted the system -> tried to install AVG 9.0 Free...get this error.

No idea.

Have you tried install MSVC redistributable manually ?

btw: what OS XP 32bit? or 64bit ?

and then Install AVG free again..
